What can I say about this book but wow!.....It left me an emotional mess for sure. Adriana Locke has literally become one of my favorite writers. For some reason I thought I had read something else of hers, but it turns out I am an official newbie fan...lol. And im so happy my girls from Instagram recommended me to read something of hers. I will try and not give anything away being that this book burly came out. The release date is July 13, 2015, so keep that in mind so you guys can definitely go out and get it. From the get go this book is heart wrenching, and it kills you to see soo much pain, regret and sorrow in these beautiful characters. Julia has gone through so much in her life, and holds tight to whatever she has left. The pain that she carries makes her push everyone away. Left widowed and a single mother of a young child working 2 jobs to make ends meet, makes her day to day a struggle to stay afloat emotionally and financially. Crew has to be my favorite person in this book. His that one person you would love to have when things get really tough in your life. And even though he tries to be there for Julia, she will have non of it. Crew feeling responsible for the situation she's in, but finds ways to help her out in whatever he can. There's definitely waaaaay more to that relationship and story but im trying my hardest not to spoil anything for you guys. But what I will say is that the day to day interaction in the beginning is so agonizing and sad to read between them two, that you can help and feel so helpless for Julia and Crew. Don't think that this book is all just tears, it definitely makes you go through a rollercoaster of emotions. This book really does give you everything. I know that just like me, you to will go through your own Book Hangover. Totally recommend this book, If I could give it 10 stars I would. Definitely a book to add to your TBR list.
