I shrugged to hide the tremble, but then remembered he couldn’t see me. “Believe what you want.”
“There are consequences to bad decisions.”
“I’m sure I don’t know what you mean.”
“But your father would, wouldn’t he?”
I sucked in a breath and tried to talk myself out of being afraid. There was no way he could know my father had anything to do with this. “My father is none of your concern.”
“Wasn’t it your father who sent you?” I didn’t answer that. I wouldn’t. “If you won’t answer, maybe I should ask him myself.”
“No!” His silence shattered my armor. “My father didn’t send me.” My voice begged him to believe me. It was only half the truth. If he had a choice, I wouldn’t be here, but I gave him none.
I waited, but only silence followed. I looked to his two henchmen who listened to our exchange with curiosity and confusion etched on their perfect faces.
“I’ll see you soon.” He didn’t say more. The line disconnected, and I was left feeling as if fainting would erase everything that just happened.

My Review
Grey has to be one of my all time favorite authors. I was completely hooked after reading Scoring Wilder!! and from there on it was history. She writes her contemporary romance with such style and class that when I found out that she was writing A place in the sun and that it was Georgie's story all hell broke loose with my excitement. I loved, loved, loved it!!!...Yes 3 loves I mean I could keep going but don't want to go over board...right? ..lol
This story was everything, instead of studying for exams I was sitting all weekend on my butt in my little reading nook not going nowhere. Grey gave us a story of love and sexiness, by the way I completely enjoyed that part ;)....She was able to write and be able to give us a place that we could imagine our selves being there. The whole concept of location and story was perfection all rolled into one. And I completely enjoy that she keeps bringing out from the wood work characters that we have already met in other books. The whole idea of me knowing were the character came from and who she is related to just brings me complete joy. Overall this book is definitely a 5+ star book!!..And I cant wait for all my Book sisters and reading Junkies to get to know Georgie Archibald and Gianluca!!!

I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things... everyday.

I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors are Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things "funny". Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.

Her letters are always on black paper with silver writing. Sometimes there’s one a week or three in a day, but I need them. She’s the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

We only had three rules. No social media, no phone numbers, no pictures. We had a good thing going. Why ruin it?

Until I run across a photo of a girl online. Name’s Ryen, loves Gallo’s pizza, and worships her iPhone. What are the chances?

F*ck it. I need to meet her.

I just don’t expect to hate what I find.

He hasn’t written in three months. Something’s wrong. Did he die? Get arrested? Knowing Misha, neither would be a stretch.

Without him around, I’m going crazy. I need to know someone is listening. It’s my own fault. I should’ve gotten his number or picture or something.

He could be gone forever.

Or right under my nose, and I wouldn’t even know it.

My Review

Wow!! Dare I say this amazing author has given us those amazing feels we look forward to in her writing?!?!? This book and characters were just breath taking and a breath of fresh air. I loved and hated them all at the same time. (In a Good Way Of course)
When I started the book it took me a few chapters in to really feel the writing of  Penelope. And OMG!!..How I missed this author, She did not disappoint let me add. I loved everything about this story. 
Misha and Ryen were so well written and completely well developed through out the story. Both characters intrigued me and allure me, not only them but the story itself. It consumed me to the core it was sexy, hot, and even funny at times. But I do have to say that I loved and truly enjoyed Misha's bad boy side. I mean isn't that Penelope's signature style in most of her books!...Yes reading Junkies we get some of that as well. Thank you for that Penelope!! :)
Overall without giving anything away, this book is fantastic. And your definitely are getting the writing style we expect and love so much from this amazing author. And I definitely cant wait for the next story in store for us by Penelope.
